The Kid Who Ran for President

There is a kid named Judson Moon that was 12 years old. While him and his friend, Lane Brainard were playing pool Lane thought of an idea of Judson running for president. In Judson’s words he said “grownups have had the last one hundred years to mess up the world, now its our turn.”

I liked the book because it was understanding because I thought almost the same way about everything they said. Also because its somebody my age.

Favorite Season

My favorite season is winter. Winter is my favorite season because it snows sometimes and I like to make to make snowmen. Also, because Christmas is when my family gets together and we give each other presents. I also like it when it gets cold because I sit by the fire and drink hot chocolate. As you can see I have many different reasons to love winter.

History of Red Ribbon Week

Enrique S. Camarena was born July 26, 1947 in Mexico. He joined the Drug Enforcement Administration June 28, 1974. In the early 1985 he was close to unlocking a multi-billion dollar drug pipeline. However , he he was kidnapped before he could finish his mission. His body wasn’t found until March 5, 1985. After his death Duncun Hunter and high school friend Henry Lozano started a club named Camarena club in his home town Calexico California. David Dhillan along with hundreds of other club members wore red ribbons and pledge to live a drug free life to honor the sacrifices made by him along with other Americans.
